New DZOFilm VESPID 16mm T2.8 Cine Lens
DZOFilm has now launched a 16mm lens in their VESPID line. This lens is listed online at $1699 (soon to be $1799) and should be available very soon.
We’re happy to see a significant wide angle added to this lineup and hope there are more new lenses to come in the future.
This lens remains compact and has the usual features of this lens lineup with the exception of the minimum aperture of T2.8 and you cannot use front, screw-on filters.
DZO Versus Meiki Cinema Prime Lenses
We prefer the DZO cinema primes over the Meike ones, but either way, we’re happy to have so many offerings for cine lenses in this price range.
New Catta Full-Frame Cine Zoom Lenses from DZOFilm
DZOFilm has released some wonderful lenses in the affordable cine sector. The Vespid primes turned out better than we expected. And their previous Super 35 Pictor zooms were an interesting option for affordable cine zoom lenses. Now they have released these full-frame cine zoom lenses that certainly look like an interesting option.
